The Boston Folk Festival 2003 coincided with Hurricane Isabel -- but not
entirely in the same places, thank goodness. We took off from BWI at 7am
on Thursday September 18, flying to Boston ahead of the storm. By 11am
Metro was closed and shortly thereafter the DC airports closed.
Fortunately we suffered no power loss and no property damage and had a splendid
time in Boston.
We had enjoyed a Duck Tour of Austin when we were there in August, so we took
one in Boston.
